QDC stands for Qatar Distribution Company. It's the only legal distributor of alcohol and pork products in Qatar.

The QDC license is a permit that allows eligible residents to purchase alcohol for personal consumption.

 Login to QDC -> e-Services Select "Renew Existing Permit" ->Verify details and upload documents Pay fees (150-400 QAR depending on validity period) ->Download digital permit (physical card optional)

Special notes: Employer changes require in-person visit Medical renewal needed if certificate >2 years old

Yep, no appointment needed Saturday to Wednesday—you can just walk in. But Thursdays and Fridays still require an appointment because of the crowd. If you're doing a permit application or renewal, you’ll still need an appointment for that.

Yes, Qatar Distribution Company (QDC) is closed during the month of Ramadan. This is a standard practice, as the store does not operate at all throughout Ramadan and typically reopens a few days after Eid celebrations conclude. However, to accommodate its customers, QDC allows license holders to purchase up to three times their normal monthly quota in the month prior to Ramadan.
